[7] 영어성경공부 - 창세기 3장 4-6절 (선악과를 먹음)

[성경 본문]

 

창3:4

"You will not surely die," the serpent said to the woman.

뱀이 여자에게 이르되 너희가 결코 죽지 아니하리라

 

창3:5

"For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."

너희가 그것을 먹는 날에는 너희 눈이 밝아져 하나님과 같이 되어 선악을 알 줄 하나님이 아심이니라

 

창3:6

When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.

여자가 그 나무를 본즉 먹음직도 하고 보암직도 하고 지혜롭게 할 만큼 탐스럽기도 한 나무인지라 여자가 그 열매를 따먹고 자기와 함께 있는 남편에게도 주매 그도 먹은지라

 

 

[문장 분석]

 

창3:4

"You will not surely die,"

너   ~않을 것이다 반드시 죽다

 

the serpent said to the woman.

그       뱀       말했다 그 여자에게

 

창3:5

"For          God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened,

 왜냐하면 하나님 아신다          ~때    너    먹다 그것 너의 눈        열릴 것이다

For은 문어체로 because로 사용될 수 있고 when you eat of it, 그것을 먹을 때 이렇게 끊고 your eyes will be opened로 수동태 형태로 사용되었습니다.

 

and      you will be       like God,      knowing good and evil."

그리고   너   될 것이다 ~처럼 하나님     알게 되는  선     과     악

knowing을 추가하여 하나님을 부연설명하고 있습니다.

 

창3:6

When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye,

~할 때  그    여자    봤다           그 열매        그 나무   좋았다        음식으로 그리고 만족하게 하다 눈에

 

and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and        ate     it.

그리고 또한 바람직한 ~위해 얻는   지혜       그 여자 취하다 일부 그리고 먹었다 그것

take는 취하다라는 동사로 get보다 더 적극적으로 제가 취하다, 가지다 라는 동사입니다.

즉 하와가 본인의 적극적인 의지로 이것을 행했다는 의미입니다.

 

She      also gave some to her husband, who was        with her,      and      he     ate       it.

그 여자 또한 주었다 일부      그녀의 남편에게      ~인 상태 그 여자와 함께 그리고 그 남자 먹었다 그것

who was with her을 통해 her husband를 부연설명하는 관계대명사가 나옵니다.
